The woman who dumped a bag of puppy in a dumpster was arrested and the police now know she is not the only dog she has been in danger.
Deborah Sue Culwell, 54, was arrested on Monday night and charged with seven counts of animal abuse.
The Animal Services Department of Riverside County, California, said she was arrested at her home in Coachella after the monitoring films of her scrapping puppies were used to identify her on her label.

When they arrived home, the animal control officers discovered that "the house was being invaded by other dogs," according to the county.
They found 38 dogs at home, and "most dogs looked healthy, but some were aggressive or awful," the county statement said, adding "the house was in shambles".
Pet Services is currently working to determine if the abandoned puppy mother dog, which would have been three days old when found on April 18, is one of 38 dogs found at Culwell. These dogs were confiscated.
If the mother dog is found, the authorities will decide if a meeting can be coordinated, the statement said.
Meanwhile, the abandoned puppies are taken care of and a volunteer has emptied them.

They were first discovered by a man identified by the Department of Animal Services by his first name, John, who allegedly found the dogs in the dumpster and took them to a nearby auto body shop.
"The good Samaritan played an important role in safeguarding the lives of these puppies," Animal Service Commander Chris Mayer said in an update posted on his website, noting that the temperature was in the air. 90s the day of the discovery of puppies.
"His actions were human and heroic."
